DYSLEXIALAND

DyslexiaLand is a book based on experience, after 13 years of navigating the public school system with a dyslexic son--who graduated from high school with honors, despite not learning to read until he was in 7th grade. Mother-turned-advocate author Cheri Rae shares her insights gained from working in collaboration with her local school district as a dyslexia consultant and as an award-winning community dyslexia resource in this unique field guide for parents. Complete with illustrations by dyslexia advocate Liz Taylor, and a Foreword by Peggy Stern, founder of Dyslexiaville, the book explores the territory, complete with history, politics, language, and popular culture to help parents navigate the sometimes difficult terrain of DyslexiaLand. The book will be available on Amazon and in select bookshops, as well as at www.DyslexiaLand.com
